TRIP GOALS & OUTCOMES

 

 

Goal #1: To empower teens with knowledge regarding their Jewish heritage so they can live proud and Jewish-inspired lives.

 

1.1) Immerse in the tastes, culture, and experience of the Jewish homeland and explore their intrinsic connection to it. Engage with this theme during and after camp.

1.2) Cultivate a stronger awareness of their Jewish identity based on the above theme after the trip.

1.3) Acquire skills, language, and cultural familiarity to navigate their Jewish journey.

 

 

Goal #2: To engage with, appreciate, and learn respect for Jewish sites and Jewish history.

​

2.1)  Explore and gain insight about the journey from ancient to modern-day Israel, and become empowered by increased knowledge of Jewish faith.

2.2)  Participate in acts of community service, such as packing food and clothes for needy families in Israel, fostering identification with Jews living in Israel.

2.3) Implement similar practices after the trip.

Goal #3: To train the next generation of Jewish leaders who can positively inspire and impact the people and environment around them.

 

3.1) Share new Jewish knowledge and lessons learned on the trip with family members and friends.

3.2) Participate in and contribute to programs that promote positive advocacy for Israel, the Jewish nation, and connecting Jews across the world.

3.3) Increase positive awareness of Jewish history and Israel within their respective communities.

Goal #4: To develop confidence, courage, and an appreciation of each teen's individual worth. 

 

4.1) Take advantage of opportunities to meet and build relationships with other

Jewish teens and staff and maintain those relationships well after the trip is over.

4.2) Participate in activities that enhance the understanding of diversity and the development of team-building skills, and implement those skills in everyday practice.
