A TEEN SIGNED UP FOR $1, WHEN IS ANOTHER PAYMENT REQUIRED?
Flight payment is due 90 days before departure and full tuition is due 30 days before departure.
All payments are fully refundable until 90 days before departure. For more info on refunds click here.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE $3,000 ROOTONE VOUCHER?
Teens in grades 9-11 currently residing in the USA or Canada and attending public high school or a non-orthodox Jewish day school are eligible for the voucher. Teens who used the voucher previously, aren't eligible to receive it again.
*Please note that CTeen Summer accepts 12th graders even though they aren't eligible for the RootOne voucher.
WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE SUBSIDIZED PRICING?
Any family who can't pay the full price listed is invited to choose subsidized pricing. Families are required to apply for any available subsidies at their local federation. In the event, the federation subsidy is insufficient or there is no federation in their area CTeen will guarantee the subsidized price.
CAN A TEEN STAY IN ISRAEL LONGER AFTER ATTENDING THE HERITAGE QUEST OR ISRAEL JOURNEY?
Yes! If a teen has family, etc. in Israel and they would like to extend their return, they can fill out a 'flight extension form' and CTeen is happy to extend their return ticket for them. May be subject to fare increase.
WHAT CAN I TELL A PARENT NERVOUS TO MAKE PLANS SO LONG BEFORE THE SUMMER?
Registration costs just $1 and is fully refundable until 90 days before departure! Register and save your spot, if needed, you'll cancel later!
WILL ATTENDING THIS TRIP AFFECT A TEEN'S ELIGIBILY FOR BIRTHRIGHT?
No, it will not affect their eligibility for birthright. For more info on Birthright’s eligibility and requirements visit mayanotisrael.com/eligibility
IS AN EIGHTH GRADER, ENTERING NINTH GRADE, ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?
No, only teens graduating grades 9-12 are eligible.
HOW CAN I SIGN UP TO BE A TRIP CHAPERONE?
Application will become available after February 1st.
IS THERE A SIBLING DISCOUNT?
Yes! If siblings are registering for camp they can apply the code SIBLING to get a $75 discount.
WHERE CAN I SEE WHICH TEENS FROM MY CHABAD HOUSE HAVE REGISTERED?
Sign on to your shliach portal.
In order to see them, you must make sure that at the time of registration, they select you as their Shliach in the "Local Chabad Affiliation" section.
If they did not, please contact our office we need to create a manual link between them and your Chabad house in order for them to be viewable in the portal.
